Toll-Free Number in Practice

Toll-free numbers sit in their own ranges in the numbering plan. Businesses use toll-free numbers for support lines and, in the US, for A2P SMS after verification. A toll-free number has no geographic area. A +1 toll-free number reveals neither country nor time zone.
