About Marketcall
Marketcall is a pay-per-call affiliate network based in Pasadena, California. Advertisers pay for qualified calls, and affiliates earn a commission on the calls they drive. Its network has attracted more than 18.7 million calls since 2015, by Marketcall's own count.
Lead Lists That Arrive Unchecked
Affiliates send Marketcall lead lists for its call campaigns. A list arrives as phone numbers, with nothing about which ones are live. HLR lookups are not available in the US, so the usual screen does not exist. Calling in arrival order spends the first attempts on the least reachable numbers.
What Runs on Each Number
eHLR. Returns valid, invalid or unknown on each US mobile number. It combines telecom network signals with digital footprint data. It does not need an HLR to query.
MNP. Returns the network holding the number today, after porting. Marketcall routes each call on that network.
Connectability score. phone_accessibility ranks each number from 0 to 10 by how reachable it is. Marketcall calls the highest scores first. Lower scores are still called, at a lower priority.
Results
Marketcall reports two changes:
- —Routing. Calls go out on the network that holds each number today.
- —Prioritization. The most reachable leads are called first. Lower-scoring leads stay in the campaign and are called later.
- —Affiliate feedback. Numbers eHLR returns as invalid are still called, last, because US call rates are low. The verdicts go back to affiliates as feedback on their lead lists.
